Check ups - 8 months

Hi,

Just returned from the docs where I was weighed and blood pressure tested, I also requested the results of my bloods from a couple of weeks ago.

Well, since Feb '05 I have gained a shocking 4lbs, aaaaaaaagh!  Still, I didn’t realise that back in Feb I was only 10 3 so nothing serious in that gain.  My blood pressure was about the same, cool.  She was shocked to see my cholestorol so low down at 3.3 saying that it was very very good, the target being less than 5.5.  My prolactin had an upper threshold limit of 700 which I had to score under and mine came in at 231, last time it was around 370.  Unfortunately she was unable to qualify what was a good or bad score so I will have to investigate.  She in turn indicated that she would query it with my doctor.  Liver was fine, no movement there either.

All in all, nice peace of mind to know its all going sweet, no bad scores!

The nurse remembered me from last time and asked or mentioned that it was to be a regular checkup.  I explained yes and that it was supposed to have been every 6 months but for whatever reason didn’t happen this time.  I am pretty certain that she knows why I am there, I did notice the G word appear near the top of the electronic notes as we scanned through them comparing last time to now and can only presume she either saw it or has previously read it.  She is very nice and pleasant tho so not a problem if she does, just intrigued really.  She was conversational which I think wouldn’t have happened if she didn’t really care, she said see me next time too which was good.

Next lot will be May sometime, ooooo almost world cup month!
