Musings

Its like, duuuuuur, an online diary full of thoughts and reflections based on my rather peculiar dysphoric life. Mmmm, all relativity i guess, to be 'odd' or 'peculiar' is to be 'special' and 'interesting', that suits me a whole lot better!

Special Needs

Wheeeeeeeeeeee been a while since posting methinks, I keep meaning to but then it falls into "I'll do it later" things  which kinda defeats the object of doing this journal thingy.  The moment has passed and the sense of emotion or 'cause' of writing becomes 'diluted' with time the farther today is from the moment.  Anyways…

Sunday night just before work I had a call from an old workfriend asking if I would wanna go see some dodgy lil band called, er, now, what was the name, oh yeah, only friggin PLACEBO!!!!!! Wooooo wheeeee so after a evershort dilema cause of electro appt that same afternoon, I told him I could go and he got the two tickets, one for me and the other for his wifey poos Lou who went with me.  He doesn’t know about me in the confirmed sense, however, he gives off strong vibes and I certainly feel he, well, and his wife I guess, think I am gay at least so if in case anyone thinks its weird that someone should take a friends wife somewhere then that’s the background in very very few words.

Well, they were great! They played some of the older stuff like 36 Degrees but in a new way which sounded real good, the new stuff plays well too.  I didn’t realise how much guitar Stefan plays either.  It was quite funny being in such a big crowd of people too, seems a lotta younger people than 'less younger' people kicking around, loadsa androgony going on tho which was kinda funny cool.  The venue was at Alexandra Palace in London, was the first time I had been there and seemed a real nice building.

Unfortunately my spineless self has not told Lou about my 'position' so when we arrived and headed for the toilets she 'helpfully' pointed out the guys toilets whilst headed for the girls, of course this meant loadsa weird looks for me but its my fault for keeping stum even though I know she is fine with all differences and quite freely talks about her 'love' for 'nancy boys' and general interest in sexual and gender variations.  Real nice to talk too actually, she was telling me all about her new book she has been writing for the last year or so on the Marquis De Sade whom she is fascinated with.  She was real easy to chat to and said how much fun she had been having which is great.

I took some piccies on my moby but I dunno how they will come out yet, if they are ok I'll post em but I am not expecting them to be too good, but that’s how my mind works.
